The Seed Plant Associate with Class A CDL could be in any of these departments working throughout the year: Packaging Lines, warehouse, production, harvest role. This job entails the transfer of products from company locations to locations, moving products to and from bin sites, climbing in and out of the trucks along with opening bin doors at the top of the bin. This will also include local product movements and deliveries. You will also be driving equipment other than a truck. Our requirements are listed below.
- Safe driving record and experience of 3 + years of semi driving
- Must be dependable and able to work independently or in a team environment
- Experience repairing vehicles, farm equipment, semi tractors and other large equipment
- Diagnose equipment problems and determines repairs needed
- Performs daily safety and maintenance checks
- Able to lift up to 65 lbs, stand, bend, twist and climb
- Must be able to work in the heat, cold, etc.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to make decisions when needed
- Clean, polite and presentable since this person will be a company representative. Company provided shirts and jacket.
- Willingness to assist with tasks in various departments of the facility as needed
